Do you think it's safe to touch that?"
They didn't seem to be too lucky today. At least nothing bad had come from lighting the torches.
"It looks like it would fit in the main room's wall...what with the sun and all."
She pointed out the obvious.

The others were hesitant, and rightly so. Blu just shrugged. Though generally considered the thinking man of most groups, he tended to only apply such thought when under pressure to do so. With no pause, Blu reached down and scooped up the orb.
...
...
He looked around a few times, waiting for the ceiling to lower, the floor to fall out, the walls to close in, a hail of arrows to fall, the door to seal shut, poisonous gas to fill the room, an unnecessarily sized beast to attack them, all of their energy to be sucked from their bodies, the temple to collapse onto them, a natural disaster to wipe out the continent they stood upon, and/or all of them to spontaneously combust. When it seemed that none of this was going to happen (yet), he shrugged again.
"Well, shall we move on?"

Trunks shrugged. Maybe they'd have some good luck finally. Trunks walked out of the room and into the main hallway.
"I don't think that we should put that in yet. Let's get the other one."
With that he headed into the moon room.

She didn't object to Trunks' suggestion.
"Time for more fun?"
With a shrug, Ayame followed Trunks to the Moon room. She wouldn't be standing beneath the doorway this time, though she still didn't venture too far within it. She was feeling much better at this point in regards to the poison.

Blu came in behind his companions, after pocketing the sun orb away with his vials. They had had so much fun at the sun room, he had almost forgot about this other room.
Being rather darker in here, the first thing Blu did was to wipe off the (now extinguished) fire kanji and replace the light. His hilt was getting a lot more use than normal today. Using the improved light, Blu gazed around for a closer look at the room, carefully observing the walls, ceiling, floor, and pedestal without touching anything.
"Trunks, if you have an urge to touch something, contain it, or I might have to have Ayame spank you."

The light revealed designs carved into the wall but overpowered the blue beams that had been shooting across the room. Much like the mirror border in the previous room, a stone border ran around the room. Instead of torches, there were three depressions across from one another...spherical and about the size of the orbs laying in the bottom of the stand. Where a matching fourth depression would have been was a large stone carving.

Trunks just glared at Blu after he made that comment. He'd deal with him later. As for now Trunks looked down at the pedestal to see if the larger blue orb was attached.

The orb was seated in a crescent-shaped stone. The edges of the stone wrapped around some on the orb to secure it in place, but it didn't seem like the orb was stuck for good. A little tampering would be necessary. Also, with a top-down view, the stem of the pedestal could be seen to sit in the base almost as if it was meant to spin.

"You can spank him if you want..." Ayame gave an irritated glance to Blu.
She then turned her attention to the room. From her viewpoint, she could not see the swiveling capabilities of the stand. What she could see were the two sets of depressions. She looked from the pedestal to the wall.
"So do those three orbs go in the stand or in the walls? Or maybe I'm missing something..."

The kanji mage glanced sidelong at Trunks. "Maybe later if he's not too busy."
Rubbing his hand quickly over the tip of his hilt, Blu once again extinguished the light. He would have to stop turning it on and off or be at risk of overusing the trick. As soon as the light went out, the beams from the pedestal became visible again.
"I don't think we want to block these. Let me take a look at where on the wall they're hitting."
