The way Trunks effortlessly dodged her trick attack, only to taunt her about it, raised the girl's temper even further. She glared up at him as he stood upon her axeblade, one eye almost totally obscured behind her pale purple hair. In answer to his multiple questions, she spoke only a single word, her anger displayed in her tone.
"Mio."
As she spoke this word, a localized wind with the force of a tornado tore past her small body, colliding with Trunks. The two waist-length ties of hair that hung over her shoulders whipped furiously in the gale, but her body did not budge. Instead, just as the wind began, she yanked upward on her axe's hilt, tearing the head out of the ground. If Trunks wasn't blown away by the wind, then the massive blade he was standing on would rip not only through his leg, but would make a mess of a rather more sensitive area as well.

This guy was better than he thought. Once in the air Rio had little chance at moving. He did, however, see the lash knife heading in his direction. As he flipped head over heels he swung both swords in front of him. Being as disoriented as he was his first swing missed completely. The second swing, coming across only seconds after, caught the chain of the lash knife.
Rio landed hard on his back. It took a second for him to realize that the chain had wrapped around his katana. He knew Blu's first instinct was going to be to yank the blade from his hand so Rio attempted to return the favor. He didn't have much leverage from his back, but he pulled with everything that he had. Right as he pulled the chain he noticed a friend watching his fight.
"Jump in whenever!"

The wind caught him off guard and he was knocked back because of it. Dirt from her ripping the axe out of the ground sprayed his face. In the blink of an eye he was in front of the girl with both hand wrapped tightly around the handle of the axe.
"Listen Mio! I don't want to hurt you. Stop letting your temper get control of you. Trust me, I've had to learn that the hard way."
With that he gave a quick shove to the axe and just as quickly pulled it back in hopes of making her lose her grip.

Unaliari tilted her head some, giving a small, impressed nod of the robed man’s obvious ability. Rio would have a run for his money on this one, though she had to commend Rio’s own reflexes at the moment, as well. It was a shame that everyone was out to kill one another today.
"Jump in whenever!"
Unaliari blinked. Jump in? Well she wouldn’t leave a friend in need. One had to give a little to get a little, after all. She bumped the bottom of the spear with her foot, sending it into a spin that she used to twirl the weapon as she stepped forward. The lashknife was still airborne and dangerously unpredictable for the moment, so she held back from clearing too much of the distance between her and the fight. Now the three were spread out in a triangle formation. The spear came to a halt, held firmly and diagonally in front of the alchemist.
“If you insist, Rio.”
She smirked, her eyes fixed on the kanji mage as she spoke.

Indeed, Blu's first action was to pull on the entangled lashknife chain. It was a strategy that had worked in countless battles before now, so he was always quick to try disarming any tangled opponents.
Despite his youth, however, Rio was more able than Blu's average opponent. He was dragged along the ground for a few feet, due to laying on his back, but his grip on his weapon held firm. For now, the two of them held locked in a tug-of-war until someone took action.
"Jump in whenever!"
Blu had noticed the dark-skinned girl's return before, but had been slightly too occupied to say anything. Now that she made her entry into the battle known, however, he was obligated.
"Please, do jump in whenever. I'd been looking forward to receiving my thanks for saving you and your pretty little friend. Though I have to be honest--I have no interest in sharing you with Rio."
He made a face as if remembering something, and bowed his head slightly, never softening his grip on his lashknife hilt. "I'm Blu, by the way." After enough bad experiences, he had finally started remembering to introduce himself to the girls he flirted with.

Trunks pulled hard against her axe, but despite the strength behind this, Mio did not relinquish the weapon. She stood there, feet planted, glaring at the much larger man whom she was deadlocked with.
"I don't need you to teach me anything!"
She used the few seconds of freedom as they stood deadlocked to concentrate. This was a more complicated weave than the last two...
The hard earth beneath Trunks' feet suddenly liquefied, turning to a soupy mud that would not support his weight. Just as this happened, she stopped pulling back on her axe hilt, and instead pushed forward, adding to the force of the saiyajin's pull, in an attempt to make him fall and bring the axeblade down upon him.

Unaliari was about to jab the spear towards the mage when he spoke up.
“Please, do jump in whenever. I'd been looking forward to receiving my thanks for saving you and your pretty little friend. Though I have to be honest--I have no interest in sharing you with Rio.”
“Saving us, eh?”
Maybe Unaliari would have reconsidered running him through, but his flirtatious remark that followed kept the battle going. She didn’t take offense to the remark, like so many other women often did, it just felt right to keep going, as though the atmosphere was casual for the moment. The wrong comment about Silenus, however, could easily send the easygoing battle into darker territory.
“Well then, allow me to offer my gratitude.”
She gave her thanks while simultaneously thrusting the spear at his midsection.

Rio let go of his katana. At the time it was a good idea. He knew that he could just create another one, but the more he thought about it the more he realized that he just made a mistake. Unaliari had just thrust her spear at his stomach. Now, he'll be falling away from it. Oh well, the two of them would be able to get him.
Rio jumped to his feet. As the katana soared through the air he made it fade into nothing. The same happened to his other katana. Instead, he reached into his shirt and placed his hand on his stomach. Within seconds a king cobra was wrapping itself around his arm. With a quick thrust of his arm he launched the snake forward toward Blu. The snake knew not to attack Unaliari.

As the Saiyan prince fell he launched a small ball of energy into the girls stomach. It wouldn't do much to hurt her just knock her on her ass.... maybe knock the wind out of her.
Flames shot out horizontally in front of Trunks as he continued to fall. In what seemed like a millisecond they also hardened forming a ten foot pole of rock. This seemed like he over did it a bit, but he didn't know how far away solid ground was. Luckily, the pole hit on either side. Trunks grabbed the pole on his way down and launched himself into the air.
More flames shot from the Saiyan's hands mid way through a flip in the air. This time though, appeared Tapion's sword. This girl was going to have to learn the hard way. As he returned back down to the ground he brought the sword down in a vertical slash at the girl.

Several things now happened in quick succession. Rio released his katana, though Blu had been ready for this, so rather than falling, he caught himself with a quick step backward. This, inadvertently but conveniently, acted as a sidestep to Unaliari's spear-thrust, the point of the weapon nipping at the loose cloth of his robes. The katana that had been entangled in his lashknife chain vanished--an interesting fact that Blu filed away in his mind.
Everything was all fine up to this point, but then Rio had to go and throw a snake of all things. Acting quickly, Blu grabbed Unaliari's spear shaft in his left hand (this hand now holding that and the shaft of his own weapon) and maneuvered behind her, holding her around the waist with his right arm and spinning her to face Rio. The spearhead went directly into the mouth of the flying cobra, the serpent not halting until it had engorged half of the spear length.
"Thank you, your gratitude was a big help," Blu said to Unaliari, without releasing her. "With enemies like you, who needs allies? Though I still suggest we find a more private place where we can... scuffle." The grin on Blu's face spoke of how much he enjoyed their proximity.
