Trunks deflected Mio's axe--not wholly unexpectedly. Before she had a chance to recover it, however, he was already on the move.
The saiyajin vanished suddenly from view. Fool. The instant he reappeared, Mio ducked under his kick, returning with a harsh uppercut to the midsection--which traveled right through the afterimage as if Trunks wasn't there (mainly because he wasn't). Simultaneously, Trunks' actual foot connected with the small girl's shoulder, sending her rolling through the dirt.
When she stood up, her expression was not a pleased one. As she rubbed the dirt from her face, though, she forced a smile.
"So, you like to beat on little girls too, Trunks? You really did have a dark side, didn't you?"
While she spoke, Mio prepared several weaves of air. She then shot out her right hand in the direction of her axe. The huge weapon lifted from the ground, and spun through the air in her direction, much as it had when she threw it at Trunks. Just as it was about to reach her, however, it suddenly shot forward, once again heading toward the saiyajin. At the same time, Mio pointed her left palm toward the ground, and she shot up into the air as if in flight. As the axe headed toward Trunks from the front, Mio descended on him from above, weaving the threads of air around her arms to create blades that were completely invisible, yet sharper than any metal.

Unaliari watched as Blu’s fist made contact with more force than she could have expected. She saw that Rio was not quick to get up and figured that was her cue. Lucky for the two of them, Blu was using the moment to collect himself as well.
The alchemist drew in a deep breath, focusing. She studied the kanji mage, or more specifically, the weapon coiled in his hands. She had a calculating look, as though considering the possible actions this lashknife could take against any number of her advances. Then her eyes slowly shifted up to the mage’s.
It was then that the shaft of the spear would be swinging towards the left side of the mage’s head. There was no indication of movement from the Eclyptian, but that was due to the fact that she wasn’t there at all. Unaliari had left a decoy of herself with limited movement. She’d twisted the light waves around her in a cloak which allowed her to move unseen to the mage and had created a small buffer zone in an attempt to contain an excess of sound from her advance. She hadn’t approached exactly head on, for the concentration of making the intended blow count would reveal her location at the end. Even if reappeared just as the swing was fast-approaching, a gap was a gap. Unaliari also hadn’t used the tip of the spear, for Blu didn’t seem to be excessively thirsty for blood.

When Rio finally looked up he saw Blu ready to take on either one of them. Then Unaliari started walking toward Blu... and he didn't move. Before Rio gave any questioning looks something caught his eye where Unaliari was standing, a glimpse of her image that she was creating caught his eye. He knew that she could manipulate sight and sound from their previous fights so tried his best at acting.
"You ready?"
Rio slid into a fighting stance as he looked back at Blu. It's then that he saw Unaliari swing her staff at Blu.
"Alright, let's finish this."

After Trunks delivered the kick he landed softly on the ground. He felt horrible about what he just did and it would have shown on his face.
"So, you like to beat on little girls too, Trunks? You really did have a dark side, didn't you?"
He would have responded, but at the moment an axe was flying at his head. That axe was causing him a little too much trouble. It was time he took care of it. Instead of running away from it he ran straight towards it. Mio was coming from above, but he simply ran underneath her. As for the axe he had to time it just right. When he got to it he reached out and grabbed the handle of it. The axe was moving much quicker, and with much more power than he expected. The head whipped around clipping the side of his leg before he was able to pull the axe back around in front of him. He tried not to let the pain show.
"You know, if you knew how much I regretted my dark side you wouldn't say things like that."
That's when something that Burra said came to mind.
"So you're from the future huh? What, did I piss you off then? If that's the case then come on and we'll fight."
Trunks swung the weapon around until he caught it with his other hand, ready for a fight.

Blu stood, waiting for one of the two combatants to act, but they seemed to be taking their sweet time. When Rio spoke, however, something about it just struck him as odd. He couldn't really say why, though...
And then, the butt of Unaliari's spear was heading for his temple, and she was no longer where she had been standing. This wasn't fast travel, though, or he would have known it. He didn't really have time to mull it all over, though. He instinctually tried to duck out of the way, but he had no chance. The metal shaft connected with his temple, and he went down, hard. The last thought he had before falling into unconsciousness was one that the Ecliptian probably wouldn't have appreciated hearing all that much.
"That really wasn't nice, Unaliari. I just wanted to get to know you better."
A hand fell on the Ecliptian's shoulder with these words. Behind her stood a man that was clearly Blu, and yet was not at all the same. He wore fancy black robes trimmed in navy blue, his hair was cut shorter, and his face clean shaven. Four white wings spread from his back, and he spoke in a slightly more mature voice, though it had lost none of its playfulness. The original Blu still lay on the ground where he was knocked unconscious.

"Hmph," Mio snorted, in answer to Trunks' questions. "You don't piss me off then at all. You piss me off now. Especially when you take things that aren't yours."
With that, she began walking calmly toward the saiyajin. The wind blades remained on her arms, completely invisible, and extending about a foot in front of her hands. She had no idea whether this past Trunks could sense her weaves, as she was not actively summoning or creating any energy, but simply reworking the elemental threads of the universe that existed naturally. She would continue toward him at this slow pace, ready for him to move. But if she got to him before he took action, she would make as if to grab her axe, her real goal being for the invisible blades to cut the arms that held it.

Rio had gone right along with Unaliari’s plan on the fly. This was quite the unexpected bonus for her. To be honest, she had figured Blu would have easily slipped out of range, but the violent shake of the spear in her hands was confirmation of her successful strike. She stood over the fallen mage, her head tilting as though to question Did that really just work?
It was then that a hand fell on her shoulders. Unaliari jumped.
“That really wasn't nice, Unaliari. I just wanted to get to know you better.”
The voice matched that of the unconscious man. When she turned to face him, it did, indeed, look like Blu. Unaliari might have looked back at the original Blu just to be sure he was still there…might have asked how it was that this Blu knew her name…but at the moment, his set of wings had caught her eye. She stared at the wings in a sort of awe, her grip on the spear easing up.

Rio didn't like the fact that this new Blu appeared out of no where. On top of that he was pretty sure that Unaliari didn't give out any information to herself, so Blu wouldn't have known.
Well, Unaliari could mess with sights and sounds maybe Blu could as well. There was one way to find out. Rio reached behind his back and pulled out a single shuriken. With a quick flick of his wrist he launched it at the newest Blu, but it wasn't directly at him. The four sided star arced out and then came at his side. That way he knew that Unaliari wasn't going to be harmed.

Trunks couldn't sense anything different about the girl, he could have if he concentrated, but his experience told him more than he needed to know at the moment. No one walked that calmly into a fight unless they had something up their sleeve. (<Now how well does that work) He wasn't going to let her get close. If her trick was long range then she would have used it already.
Trunks held his new axe in front of him. From each hand flames engulfed the weapon, and not just any flames, hellfire. He didn't expect that they would hurt anymore than regular flames, but he knew that she could control fire, and wouldn't be able to control this as easily. Trunks, not wasting any more time swung the axe around grabbing low to the end of the handle with both hands. With a strong horizontal swing he slammed the heavy axe head deep into the earth. The fire that was intertwined with the axe now left it shooting forward at Mio. Three distinct streams left the axe: one right at her, and two off to either side at an angle. With each inch in length they grew two feet in height, so by the time it reached Mio it was towering over her.

Soon after Rio threw the kunai, several semi-transparent, light blue kanji appeared in the air near Blu. If he could read them, he would see "projectile, halt, suspend," which is exactly what the kunai did. Blu reached over and snatched it lightly out of the air, fully expecting it to disappear eminently.
"Rio, you know that I'm a hero, right? I don't see why you're so intent on harming me."
He turned back to Unaliari. His hand had never left her shoulder. "Anyways, I have something to show you." Several more kanji appeared in the air, one just above Blu's right shoulder, and the pair blinked out of sight.
An instant later, they stood in a different area, though it was obviously still the arena. There were battles going on all around them, but none in their immediate vicinity. Several yards away, facing in the opposite direction, were a winged woman and a horse girl.
"I believe you were looking for them?"
