Though the pain from the electrical surge began to diminish the moment she released the blade, it was quickly replaced by the searing pain of a blade slicing through the flesh of her back.
When Blu removed the blade, he would consequently release a large reservoir of the dangerous blood as well. Though the clothing the demoness wore didn't seem phased, it was highly unlikely that the cloth the mage wore would share similar fire-resistant qualities.
While Blu reconfigured himself in order to take his important kicks at her diaphragm, the barbed tail swung up diagonally such that (if successful) it would strike across the top of his right hip bone and drag up towards his navel. Upon transformation, a series of smaller pointy projections had surfaced on the devilish tail – each had the ability to be injected into a victim with a serving of venom. Though ripping out these smaller barbs would lessen the effects, the initial injection was enough to cause significant discomfort.
The blade went deep into her back--it would reach just over halfway through the demon girl's body. Surprised that he had actually hit, Blu let himself hope, just a little, that this would be the end of things--but, of course, it was never that easy.
He yanked his foot back immediately as it sunk to its deepest. The blood that sprayed out burned through his shoe easily, removing its kanji (and therefore the blade) and exposing his toes. Luckily, that was the worst he got from it. Can't touch Dota without freezing to death, can't touch this girl without burning to death... I just can't catch a break!
Even as he twisted to bring his right foot back to the ground, his left foot was thrust toward the front of his opponent. In time with this action, however, was the demoness' counterattack. Blu instinctually thrust his right hand forward to catch the tail, but of course the hand wouldn't be grasping anything. Still, the dead hand caught on one of the barbs and thrust the tail off-course enough that it didn't connect with his main body at all. Because of this attack, Blu got just one hard kick on the demon's sternum, which he used to push off of her and gain a little distance.
This left the two combatants in an interesting game. Blu's hand was dead--there was no blood flowing through its vessels--so he didn't even feel the barb pierce his skin, let alone receive any effect from its poison. Because of this, Blu didn't even know about the poison effect of the tail. And, to match, the demon girl likely had no idea that Blu could spawn a blade from his left foot whenever he pleased. The battle to come was sure to hold surprises for all parties...
The kick to her chest had doubled her over, and it was a hard recovery with the pain in her back. The demon girl turned so that she could keep both Blu and Ayame in her vision. She was still hunched over, and was a curious as to why her poison had no visible effect on her victim (she hadn't taken the time to study his hand thoroughly for possible reasons, she just assumed immunity).
Ayame initiated the next round, successfully tipping the balance of the horned girl's attention to her side, thus freeing up Blu. Seeing that ganging up on the hell beast was their only option of defeating her, she leaped in with another swing of her blade. This one was out of range, but it was distracting and also set her in a favorable stance for her next attack.
The demon's decision to chase after one target was abandoned as she became fatigued (and thus careless). Initially boosted by her intense rage, the transformation showed signs of coming to an end. The demoness sensed this and sent a gust of the dangerous winds Ayame's way in hopes of knocking her opponent count back to one. Ayame was just following through with her second swing at this moment. Luckily for her, the weapon dealt with a generous portion of the onslaught. She was not left completely untouched, as gashes opened up under her torn clothing. Hopefully, this would give Blu another opportunity.
With Ayame's distraction (and bolstered by the demoness' apparent fatigue), Blu again rushed in. Once more, he came in somewhat behind the demon girl, as he didn't want to be caught in the gust meant for Ayame.
As Blu stepped toward her left side, his right leg once again lashed out at the same spot on her back. This, however, was a feint--she wouldn't fall for the same attack twice. Mid-kick, Blu's left leg also kicked at the girl--this one aimed behind her left knee. If it connected, Blu would instantly activate the blade, hamstringing the demoness and leaving her with only one operable leg.
Of course, with two legs in the air, this meant Blu had no legs on the ground. Hit or miss, he would be going down on his side, leaving himself wide-open for a counterattack that he was hoping wouldn't come too quickly.
Her previous exchange with Ayame taught the demoness that Blu would likely jump on the fact that her back was to him, so once she'd sent her attack towards the winged nuisance, she spun around in his direction. She caught the leg that was aimed at her back, but the true kick still hit its mark. The loss of one leg toppled her over, and she dragged Blu down with her. Despite the pain and while still holding his leg in one hand, the demoness thrust the claws of her free hand towards his midsection. To add to the fun, Blu still had to be mindful of the random trickles of blood left over from Trunks' attack. At least the damage he'd done earlier was confined to her back.
Trunks was conscious during Ayame and Blu's fight with the demon. A couple of times he figured that Ayame would have stepped on him, but the saiyan lucked out. It was taking a while but he could feel the movement coming back to him and his vision wasn't as cloudy as it were before. His wings were a nice dark gray instead of the black in which they transformed into. The saiyan felt the wind attack from the demon pass over top of him. Luckily for him he was flat on the ground and nothing happened. Trunks started out by flexing his fingers and toes. He would have to thank the big guy upstairs for accelerating his already quick ability to heal. He wasn't perfect, but the gashes from the last wind attack had come together and scabbed.
Trunks lifted himself off the ground in what looked like a modified push up. His wings stayed tight against his back. When he lifted his head he saw Blu launch both feet into the air and the demon girl go down. Now it's my turn.
Trunks ran forward just as she was swinging at Blu and lept into the air. The saiyan grabbed the girls arm with both hands, one at her wrist and one just below the shoulder (under the barb). With her elbow bending toward him Trunks sent his knee toward it in an attempt to break it. If he succeeded or not he intended for his momentum to send him past the girl so that he, Ayame, and Blu would form a triangle around her.

Though now without an operating leg, the demoness didn't miss a beat, lunging at the grounded kanji mage. Random spatters of blood danced over him, burning his clothes and not playing very nicely where it met flesh, either. Of course, now both of his shoes were open-toed, so blades were out of the picture at this point.
Blu had no chance to react to the quick stab, but thankfully, Trunks did it for him. Using the brief moment he had, Blu rolled backward and got back to his feet.
The return of Trunks was a complete blindside. His element of surprise landed him a firm hold on her arm, which led to a snap – Blu now had someone to share the joys of losing appendages with. As she looked up from her spot on the ground, the demoness realized her disadvantage was growing and growing. She was down an arm and a leg, had a hole in her back and had three people to keep track of all while her body was borderline-reverting back to its normal form. With a sigh, she admitted defeat. Maybe if she'd still had her companion...she bit her lip, remembering today's loss.
“Fine! Three against one...tch.”
One last glare was shot at Ayame, accompanied by a smirk.
“Lord Inu will be enjoying your company. Have your bags packed.”
With that, her body was engulfed by a swarm of flames that dispersed as quickly as they had formed. When they had cleared, she was gone.
Blu, having just risen to his feet, very deliberately fell back off them. He glanced at his dead, pierced hand, tattered robes, and cut, bruised, and burned body. Not to mention Trunks' and Ayame's appearance too...
