She had walked in on the demise of the snake. It might have been better to stay equipped in a temple like this, but she wearily put her katana away anyways.
"Ayame!"
The urgency in Blu’s voice reminded her of the wound in her side. She put her hand over it, crossing her arms in a casual manner.
“It’s not deep or anything...just a careless scratch…”
With that, she inspected the carnage before her as she walked back into the room.

Trunks was so caught up with that damn snake that he compeletly forgot about Ayame. What kind of big brother was he? As quickly as he could he tried to analyze the situation. He looked from Ayame to the quils and back to Ayame. Based on the blood stain on the quills the only thing that he could deduce was that she was stabbed since obviously he nor Blu were injured at all.
Trunks ran over to the tail and with a quick swing of his sword he sliced off a couple of the quills. Upon doing so venom poured from them. Just what he was afraid of.
"Blu can you use this to heal her" holding up the quill full of venom.

"I told you not to touch anything! Put that down and step away from it--I'll deal with you next."
Blu walked over to Ayame. He looked to her for silent permission between kneeling down to examine her wound.
"She's definitely been exposed to the venom, though the wound was shallow." He looked back up to her. "I'll be honest--I've never tried to make an antivenom. I think I could, but I can't be certain. I leave it up to you. If you'd like, I can try."

Ayame made no objections to the examination. She didn't really feel the energy to speak further, so she just nodded. She wasn't fully aware of the situation and her distant gaze hinted as such. She knew Blu wanted to do something and guessed it had to do with her wound. She just needed to...sit...down... And so she lowered herself to sit on the stone floor and take a quick breather.

The venom started eating away at the hand of the saiyan prince the second that he took hold of the quill. Damn snake is causing him problems even after death.
"I told you not to touch anything! Put that down and step away from it--I'll deal with you next."
The pain was starting to get to him as the poison continued to eat away at his hand.
"Don't worry about me."
Trunks lodged his sword under the body of the snake and laid his hand and wrist on the ground. Quickly he pushed down on his sword cutting off his hand. The Namek ability somehow removed pain from lost body parts but when it came to cuts and such they hurt just like it would to everyone else. Now joining the puddles of snake blood and snake venom was Saiyan blood. Trunks held his arm and walked over to Ayame kneeling down beside her.
"Are you going to be ok?"

As Trunks came over, Blu glanced over at him before he returned his attention to Ayame. Then he looked back at Trunks.
"What the...? Trunks! I could have just used the antivenom on you too." The incredulity in his voice couldn't begin to match that which he felt.
Shaking his head, he tore two pieces from his robe. The first he set around his hand, tying it at the wrist. Walking over to the dropped quill, he held the second cloth in the covered hand, soaking it in the venom on the floor.
Kneeling again next to the winged maiden and the saiyajin, he spread the poison-soaked cloth flat on to the ground. "Trunks, I'm going to borrow some of this." Pulling two vials from his robe, he let Trunks' readily flowing saiyajin blood fill them. He then let the blood run onto his clothed hand, soaking the cloth.
With this blood-soaked piece of robe, he made five red kanji on the piece of robe that lay on the ground, but was sure to not activate them while they still came in contact with the floor. Untying and discarding the cloth around his hand, he held the other to Ayame's wounded waist, and spoke the kanji aloud. "Venom, inverse, neutralize, mend, adhere." He removed his hand quickly as the kanji glowed blue, and the cloth remained attached to Ayame's side.
"Hopefully, this will do the trick. Leave it attached until you feel your strength has returned enough. You should be able to pull it off easily after a half hour or so." He wasn't entirely sure if the kanji would combine as he expected, and if not, he had just soaked her in considerably more venom. However, he didn't feel it appropriate to tell her this for now.

"Are you going to be ok?"
She noted that he was missing an arm, though she hadn't been aware enough to see him chop it off himself. Blu was yelling at him about whatever had happened. She looked at Trunks with a worried expression while the mage went to work.
"Hopefully, this will do the trick. Leave it attached until you feel your strength has returned enough. You should be able to pull it off easily after a half hour or so."
The cloth offered a cool and soothing touch to her feverish body. It pulled her back from the deep trance she was about to slip into.
She looked up to Blu: "Thank you..." And then to Trunks: "What happened...?"

"What the...? Trunks! I could have just used the antivenom on you too."
"I didn't want you to waste any of it on me when she needed it more."
"What happened...?"
He looked down and smiled. "Don't worry about me. It's a certain ability that I picked up while your mother and I were real close"
On that note he decided he had gathered enough energy to bring back his hand. He stretched his arm out like one would do just getting up in the morning. Clenching his teeth togheter he let out a yell. Then suddenly the hand that had been missing appeared to come out of the arm it had been severed from.

Blu sighed; it was about all he could think to do at the moment. "Well, if we're all done amputating ourselves here..." He let his voice trail off as he stood.
Walking over to the fallen wurm, he rubbed his hands together in a glee only a kanji mage can know. Collection time. He did a quick mental count--after the two vials he filled with Trunks' blood, he had ten remaining. Two of each would have to do.
Filling two vials with the snake's blood was quickly accomplished, but the poison required more care. Lifting the broken quill with the blade of his lashknife, he moved the blade past it and around to wrap it in the chain. He then impaled the blade into the serpent's carcass, and stretched the hilt to the wall, securing it behind a torch. This pulled the quill into the air, thick end down, dripping small amounts of poison (as most had already drained onto the ground). He patiently let the drops fill two vials, and placed them with the others in his robe. Taking down his weapon again, he wrapped the chain and secured it to his belt--the light was long gone from when the floor absorbed his kanji's power.
"Well, I'm done here. Let's finally get out of this room. I say we check out the moon room first, just because I was heading there already."

She jumped at Trunks' cry of pain and watched as he grew himself a new arm. She blinked.
"Well then..."
Ayame tried to stand while the kanji mage claimed his prizes. She was wobbly, but definitely not getting any worse.
"Well, I'm done here. Let's finally get out of this room. I say we check out the moon room first, just because I was heading there already."
"That's fine by me."
She looked to Trunks for his opinion.
