His feint anticipated and his true attack effortlessly deflected, though not honestly surprised, Blu found himself on the receiving end of an attack, though he himself had been on the offensive. Rather than press said offensive against this changed Dota, whom had either become suddenly much stronger, or decided to stop fooling around, he decided to rework his tactics. He fell back with his deflected blade, at the same time making use of his pedal kanji to dart backward, the deadly red line slicing harmlessly through his afterimage. In his new position, several meters away, Blu took a defensive posture. Just as he had begun to acclimate to Dota’s tactics and abilities, she had completely changed. It was time once again to study, and survive.
“Alright, you had me just a little worried on that one, I’ll give you that. Now that I’ve made my move, I’ll let you have a turn.”

Elieana’s right arm reached skyward, palm open, but fingers bent at the knuckle, as if grasping for something above them. With a long, rising shout she called upon her powers over life. Instantly, several square kilometers of the earth surrounding her erupted.
A forest had been born. The trees were impossibly high, and as thick as a grown man stretching his arms from side to side twice over. They bore no branches until near the top, at which point the limbs and leaves were so thick that the canopy drenched everything underneath it in shade. These were Ecliptian starkwoods, and they stood so close together that there was at most two meters between any two adjacent trees. So wide did the forest stretch, that not only would Elieana and Raven’s battle be affected, but the robed man and winged woman’s as well.
The most joyous aspect of plant alchemy was this: all of this growth, and it sapped barely a fraction of Elieana’s power. Calling fire from the air took power because there is little potential for the atmosphere to spontaneously combust. However, all but the most barren land holds untold potential for life, and boyta alchemists must merely awaken that potential, not create it.
At the top of the canopy, caught up in a cacophony of branches, lay a crumbling stone wall. Next to the wall stood Elieana herself, for she had called one of the trees from beneath where she stood. Raven, however, had been left on the ground. Leaping from her perch, the boyta’vieda assumed a downward-diagonal trajectory toward her opponent, head first, with her weapon pointed ahead of her like a javelin. Through her disappearance, the confusion, and difficulty to see through the trees, Elieana was betting on the possibility that Raven had lost sight of her.
As she came upon any tree, rather than colliding with it, both Elieana and her vine spear would meld with the organism, coming back out the other end as if she had simply gone right through it. One of her specialties as a boyta was the ability to meld with plant life, something she herself had pioneered while still in Academy, and that no other boyta, or at least none recorded, had ever accomplished. Now it would be mere seconds until she was upon Raven.

As the dragon started to rise from the earth Ouji immediatly thought of every worst case scenario that could happen to his precious phoenix. Quickly bringing up his right middle and index finger to his forehead, Ouji was gone before anyone could blink. His image faded then reappeared on the back of his pet. Just as the steam began to condense on the tail of the dragon Ouji had his hands above his head gathering energy asking the earth for more. Now most would think that this move perforemed by a saiyan would take ages as his friends family seemed to demonstrate in the past. The difference here is the training that Ouji recieved as a samurai, becoming one with his environment. Quickly this sphere of energy was a decent size. With all his might and energy Ouji launched this ball down at the icy beast. Now one of two things were going to happen from this little attack. One the phoenix was going to get hit but the spirt bomb would tear into the dragon or two the phoenix would still get hit and the dragon would dodge the spirt bomb thus causing trouble for the former Dota, and Blu.
Unfortunatly, the the tail of the dragon did strike and this would be the end for this particular phoenix. His only mission now was to find a place to land and start his final fire.

Every dark place and every single inch that lacked light spoke to Raven telling her exactly where her opponent was. The inexperience of this new girls observation skills were going to cost her this time. Elieana had given Raven more than enough ammunition to work with. Right as the girls spear began to come through the tree Ravens body dropped as if the ground had fallen right from under her feet. Now instead of completly solidifying Raven left the ground almost tar like so that when her foe would land leaving would be next to impossible.
Ravens voice could be heard echoing from all around: "You know I respect your power. You are a worthy foe, but giving me exactly what I wanted wasn't such a good idea." Excitement was the only emotion that Raven could express right now and honestly an emotion she didn't experience all that often.
Two red eyes were all that could be seen peering into the whirpool that Elieana would have landed in. "Azarath Metreon Zinthos" From several hundred feet away a tree could be heard ripping from the earth. The raidus from the tree to where Raven once stood remaind the same as it rotated clockwise around. Suddenly another tree was ripped from the ground and did the same. This continued as it worked its way in. Each shadow covered tree lifting into the air.
Eventually the trees began lifting into the air creating a black cyclone. Any clouds in the area were soon pulled to this one spot quickly blocking out the sun creating even more darkness for Raven to play with.
Inside the black vortex trees, branches, and any other sort of debris were flying around without control. Without the sun to shine down inside it was pitch black. Raven stood outside the funnel with her arms lifted controlling the spinning death trap.

The dragon could do nothing but stay in the path of the energy, for to dodge it would mean a disturbance in Dota’s current concentration on her own battle. The beast stayed its course, striking with a fierce force into the ball of energy. There was a bright explosion that shattered the entire dragon from front to end. But the shards did not give up. They continued rocketing towards the saiyin and his pet like a huge, ragged jaw – the last wish of the dragon. Of course, the ice was only maintaining the original path of the creature. While the phoenix and Ouji were free to deviate from a straight line, the now inanimate ice could only tear the sky in a linear fashion.

As Blu fell back, the whip swirled back around to lick the air around Omega’s body. It seemed to be forever flowing and alive, not wanting to rest as though to keep strength in its own inertia. It was quite hypnotizing to watch. Omega was just about to take up Blu’s offer for her to have a “turn” when the earth around them sprang into life with the sudden emergence of foreign (or better yet, alien) trees. The interruption was irritating but could not be ignored. With swift, graceful sidesteps, Omega managed to avoid occupying the site of several new tree births. At last, she took a sturdy-looking branch as an elevator to lift her above the battle field.
The whip shot out, wrapped around a tree trunk on the opposite side of Omega, then snapped back towards her, lassoing around the trunk in such a way to slice at a small, elevating angle to persuade the tree to fall away in the direction of her preference. While she could not predict Blu’s response to the environment, she had felled the tree in his general direction. The fun began when the large tree managed to collect a few smaller trees. They were still in their own growth stages, but that was cut abruptly short when the elder tree forced them into joining its decent. A few neighboring branches also snapped under the sudden force, all of which now showered down on the kanji mage’s section of the battle ground.

As Blu waited for the winged one to take her turn, the crimson whip she commanded almost entertaining to watch in its motions, someone else apparently decided to take a turn instead. Stepping casually from side to side, and every other direction as necessitated, Blu allowed the trees to sprout up around him. As each one rose in turn, it was adorned several scratches with the mage’s katana at different lengths on the way up. As he did this, he kept an eye on Dota’s vertical progression.
“Well, she might enjoy this one.”
As the trees selected by the ice goddess began their descent, Blu readied himself. He did not move from where he stood, but simply smiled at the avalanche of plant life collapsing toward him, and smiled.
“Pierce.”
With this, a half dozen of the trees surrounding him shot out massive spines at each point where a kanji was drawn. In all, nearly twenty giant spikes skewered the falling trees, shattering them to splinters, and continuing on to pass through the area where Blu’s opponent stood.

"...I just HAD to stop at the borders to check up on the patrol, didn't I? Gods above, I need to learn not to be so easily distracted."
Ariadelle stopped in front of the empty booth, knowing all too well that she had come much too late to be able to register. The only thing visible besides the booth was a deep valley, in which a forest was housed.
Wait. That forest isn't exactly natural... Where as the rest of this area seems to have the plant life of a savannah or plain, that particular area is now rich with all sorts of foreign flora. This could only be the work of some sort of magic or alchemy... she thought to herself, shutting her eyes.
After a moment's consideration, she stepped through the gates, eyes looking around for any sort of challenge or ally.
Why did she have the feeling that she was going to get hurt badly?

Elieana stood in the calm eye of a tumultuous whirlwind of death. Around her, several of the newly-born trees she had brought into the world were swirling through the air, torn from the earth. She tugged lightly at her feet submerged in ethereal tar, confirming her suspicions that they were, predictably, stuck fast.
“Kch,” Elieana scoffed, both at herself and her opponent. At herself for foolishly providing the shadow her opponent thrived on. She had realized it the instant her move had been made—but this was an instant too late. Still, this was easily reconciled. And she scoffed at her opponent for being just as foolish.
The violent walls of the squall were closing in quickly. At this point, she could have reached out and touched them in any direction—an action that would surely tear her arm off—and an action which she took. Specifically, as one of the trees caught in the tornado flew by, the runic alchemist reached out and came in contact with it, and immediately was gone.
This tree went on to smash into another, still standing, breaking the latter in half, and toppling it into the grass before it was itself carried into the storm. For over a minute, Elieana made no appearance. Could Raven’s shadows also feel Elieana’s lifeforce surging through the xylem and phloem of all of the plant life in the forest, like so many nutrients? She highly doubted it, but knew better than to dismiss it as impossible.
And then, as quickly as she had vanished, she reappeared. A hand shot out from the grass directly beneath Raven’s feet, grasping firmly for her leg. This was followed immediately by the rest of the Ecliptian, surging upward, her free hand thrusting the weapon with all of her force at Raven’s chest.

Ouji was too exhausted to even think about the aftermath of the dragon let alone moving out of its way. At the last minute he looked to notice the icy spears heading his way. With the last bit of energy he had he lifted his right hand. From the palm a green circle of energy spread from the center out creating a shield in front of him. Unfortunatly, this was a bit too late. One of the icy shards passed just by the left of the shield piercing his left shoulder. The young saiyan screamed as he dropped to the earth catching tree branches on the way down. Finally, right before he hit the ground a spine from his friend the kanji mage flew at him stabbing him in the leg and suspending him above the ground. The saiyan hung bleeding onto the floor of the newly created forest.
Oujis phoenix continued to decend into an open field where it hit the ground and skidded to a stop. The color of the phoenix grew brighter and brighter until finally it burst into flames. Its body continued to burn until all that's left was its ashes.
